Player Identification Camp
MISSION STATEMENT

We will coach positive attitudes, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We will teach career planning, skill development, and community citizenship. Our success will be measured in our students’ growth as Life Champions!

YHA Presentation
The YHA Presentation is geared for the parents / families, while the players participate in the practice session
Facility tour / academic structure / academy fees (team + travel)
Goalie Session **Important Notice**
U15 Division & U18 Division goalie session prior to the start of camp
All registered goalies must attend, NO EXCEPTIONS
- some Goalies will be assigned an "ID Camp" team immediately after this session for further evaluation at practice
- some Goalies maybe released after the goalie only session
- some Goalies maybe release after the team practice
Refunds will be provided to those released after each session and reflect the refund amount accordingly

Checking Clinic
We strongly encourage all first year (2012 born) U15 Division players register and attend the "Checking Clinic". The checking clinic will reinforce - angling, body position, stick position, ice awareness, receiving a hit and body contact
The Checking Clinic will be run by YHA Hockey Coaches
CAMP ATTENDANCE
All interested players must attend the YHA Hockey ID Camp. As an organization we feel it is important for players to earn a spot on one of our competitive travel teams. All scheduled YHA ID Camp sessions are mandatory to attend. Those players that chose not to attend ALL "YHA ID Camp" sessions, will risk being considered for one of the competitive travel teams.
2025/26 Competitive Teams
To be considered for a spot on one of the 25/26 "YHA Hockey" teams, ALL players must register and attend the YHA Hockey ID Camp
Commitments for new players will be done during and immediately following the ID Camp
Player Identification Camp Details
ID CAMP INFO:
YHA Hockey will have four (4) competitive "Travel Teams" for the 2025/26 season that compete in the CSSHL:
- Each player receives four (4) ice times (1 practice / 3 games)
- Thursday Eve - checking clinic (optional) + goalie session + team practices
- Fri + Sat - games
- Sun - All Star Game
- GOALIES ONLY session **see note above
- Exit Meeting with the YHA Hockey Coaching Staff
- All Star Game (Sunday) - for successful players only
Team placements for all rosters, will take place during the ID Camp
ID CAMP CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
The following refund policy will apply to all YSA Development camps and programs:
- All cancellations MUST be made in writing, prior to the start date of the camp / program
- Refund requests after the camp or program start date will not be eligible for a credit and/or refund
- FULL refunds will be made for medical reasons ONLY
- A copy of the doctor’s certificate will be required at the time of the refund request
- If you cancel for any other reason, you will be reimbursed 50% of the camp cost OR applicants may request a FULL camp credit for future YSA Development camps / programs
- An administration fee of $50 will apply to all cancellations
